How to C.O.L.O.R. in the Lines of Change

The Central Illinois CPCU Society Chapter is pleased to deliver this luncheon presentation on January 16th, 2019. Vegetarian meals are available.

Melissa Miles, Senior Research Analyst at State Farm, will be discussing "The HIGHway: Where Drugs and Insurance Collide."

Melissa is a senior research analyst in the Transportation Research area at State Farm. She has dedicated most of her 20-year career to the field of transportation, including vehicle technology and occupant safety. Her expertise encompasses issues such as connected and automated vehicles,distracted driving, child passenger safety, teen driver safety, and animal-vehicle collisions.

Through her research, Melissa often collaborates with auto industry and academic organizations. She serves on various external boards and committees related to transportation and mobility. She also works closely with undergraduate and graduate interns through the State Farm Research and Development Center at the University of Illinois Research Park in Champaign.

Melissa completed the CLU designation in 2017. She received a Bachelors of Science from Illinois State University in 1997, with a major in Chemistry and a minor in Spanish.
