CHF BC Annual General Meeting & Education Sessions 

Join us on Sunday, November 17 for a day of learning and connecting with others in the community housing sector at the 2019 Housing Central Conference!

The AGM day is structured so that delegates can participate in the Housing Central Conference while connecting and learning with co-op members and friends. We look forward to welcoming you for the breakfast and lunch plenaries, education breakout sessions, the AGM and the evening Sector Supper at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre in downtown Vancouver.

Building on the feedback from the last AGM, this year's selection of education sessions includes one session exclusively for co-op members in addition to sessions over a cross-section of issues relevant to both co-ops and non-profits.

The AGM features discussions on the board report, election of directors, the auditor’s report and appointment of the auditor.

Please note that an official notice of the AGM will be sent to CHF BC members.

Education Sessions

CHF BC delegates can select one of the following eight sessions to be part of their registration, if the registration option includes a breakout education session:

REGISTRATION OPTIONS AND FEES

All fees include 5% GST.

If you want to get the full experience of the conference, and you've registered for our AGM, you can register for the much larger Housing Central Conference on Monday and Tuesday, November 18 and 19 at an exclusive rate. We'll be holding an election for five at-large director positions and one finance committee position. Read the Call for Candidates and download the Candidate's Declaration Form and send it back to us at members@chf.bc.ca. Nomination deadline is 4:30 p.m, November 11, 2019.

CALL FOR RESOLUTIONS

All members are encouraged to submit a resolution to be considered at the AGM. Download the Call for Resolutions Form and submit to us at members@chf.bc.ca by 9:00 a.m, November 4, 2019.

INVOICING AND PAYMENTS

We will invoice your co-op for all registrations after the AGM. We will also invoice your co-op/organization for cancellations received after Thursday November 14, 2019.

Please note: Co-ops from Vancouver Island and outside of the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley will receive a $75 travel rebate for each member registered to attend our AGM.
