Aspen's Basic G1000 Course is designed for pilots who are new to the G1000, and who want to learn the basics. We will start at the beginning and introduce pilots to the basic G1000 display screens, and how the control knobs help you access different pages of information. You will also learn what softkeys are, and the basics of the G1000 user interface. This is an ideal course for pilots who are ready to transition from steam gauge aircraft to glass panel aircraft.
This is the first in a three-part series.
This class is FREE for member of the American Family of Flying Clubs (Aspen, Western Air, and Alliance) and $20 for non-members.
Seating for this class is limited so you must pre-register for the class by clicking on the link below.
You have the option to purchase Max Trescott's G1000™ Glass Cockpit Handbook, the single source of information that educates pilots about all of the features and benefits of flying the G1000, and how features vary among aircraft manufacturers. Pre-order your copy when you register and pick it up before class.
