Timing is everything when it comes to Social Security planning. Knowing when and how to claim can boost one's Social Security benefits substantially. This presentation will cover key benefits of Social Security, survivor and divorced benefits and much more.
About our speaker
Susan is a Regional Wealth Planner for U.S. Bank Private Wealth Management. She works with clients and prospects to provide advise driven approach to goals-based wealth planning. Susan will assess a client's goals and objectives and create customized financial strategies in the areas of retirement, education, income tax and estate planning.
Prior to joining U.S. Bank, Susan worked in public accounting for more than 20 years for a Big Four and regional public accounting firm in Milwaukee, where she specialized in individual income tax preparation and planning for high net worth individuals.
Susan frequently speaks on the topic of Social Security at law and accounting firms, estate planning groups and other professional organizations. She also leads 'Lunch and Learn" discussions with corporate clients.
Susan served 6 years as a board member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church Foundation, Inc. and was previously the chairperson for the St. Matthew's Audit Committee for nine years. She also served on the Prairie Hill Waldorf School Finance Committee for five years.
Susan earned her B.A. in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS).
