Do you know a little bit about it, but want to take it to a deeper level?
The Foundations of Personalized Learning workshop is intended for those new to the concepts of personalized learning and for those who need a bit of a refresher. Topics covered during the training include:
Why – Making the case for changing to a learner-centered educational system
What – Defining a framework for personalizing learning
How – Strategies to get started
Participants will discuss the characteristics of POWERful learners:
Purpose
Ownership
Wonder
Efficacy
Responsibility
The workshop will explore the Institute’s honeycomb model of personalized learning and change strategy for moving to a personalized learning eco-system. Participants will leave the session with tips and strategies to begin implementing personalized learning in their classrooms right away.
