SCORE Chapter 0460

SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business" is a nonprofit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and helping small business start, grow and succeed nationwide.  SCORE is a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

SCORE is headquartered in Herndon, VA and Washington, DC and has over 300 chapters throughout the United States and its territories with 10,000 + volunteers nationwide.  Both working and retired executives and business owners donate time and expertise as business counselors. Now celebrating its 55th year, SCORE was founded in 1964.

SCORE is dedicated to helping small businesses start, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship. Our volunteers have been doing this for over fifty years.

SCORE is supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and thanks to our network of 10,000 volunteers, we can deliver our services at no charge or at very low cost.

We provide Volunteer Business Mentors who share their expertise across 62 industries in free confidential business settings in person, email, phone or by video.  SCORE also provides free business resources & templates and inexpensive workshops locally or online webinars.

Why should you attend this SCORE Open House?

  • You are in business or considering starting a business and are looking for someone with experience who is willing to help you move to the next level or
  • You may wish to share your experience and “give back” to our Business Community by becoming a SCORE volunteer or
  • Your firm may wish to partner with SCORE volunteers for the betterment of our community - co-presentation of local business workshops is but one example of the mutual and civic benefits of such a partnership.

This Open House will give you the opportunity to meet local SCORE volunteers and representatives of the US Small Business Administration.  You'll learn first hand about the depth of SCORE resources available to the greater Salem business community.  So stop by and join us on the afternoon of March 25.
