SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business" is a nonprofit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and helping small business start, grow and succeed nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
SCORE is headquartered in Herndon, VA and Washington, DC and has over 300 chapters throughout the United States and its territories with 10,000 + volunteers nationwide. Both working and retired executives and business owners donate time and expertise as business counselors. Now celebrating its 55th year, SCORE was founded in 1964.
SCORE is dedicated to helping small businesses start, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship. Our volunteers have been doing this for over fifty years.
SCORE is supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and thanks to our network of 10,000 volunteers, we can deliver our services at no charge or at very low cost.
We provide Volunteer Business Mentors who share their expertise across 62 industries in free confidential business settings in person, email, phone or by video. SCORE also provides free business resources & templates and inexpensive workshops locally or online webinars.
