IPTV's Pride and Prejudice marathon screening 

The next in our popular pop-up film series will be a special airing of the critically acclaimed 1995 mini-series, Pride and Prejudice starring Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle on Saturday, April 6 at Iowa Public Television in Johnston.

This mini-series pulsates with energy as lively, witty Elizabeth Bennet charms smoldering, haughty Darcy against a backdrop of a picture postcard countryside, small-town assembly rooms and stately English homes.

We’ll start the fun at 1 p.m. and break for our special P & P Tea at 4 p.m.  The tea will include all the British favorites like scones, sandwiches, pastries, tea and wine. Then we’ll resume swooning over Mr. Darcy to watch the conclusion of the most successful TV period drama ever.
