A Visit to Ben Franklin's World

The New York State Archives and Archives Partnership Trust welcome Dr. Liz Covart, host of the popular podcast Ben Franklin’s World. A nationally renowned podcast about early American history is crafted for history lovers wishing to learn more about people and events that have impacted and shaped our present-day world. Dr. Covart will discuss her own research and highlight some episodes from the podcast.

"Beer is proof God loves us and wants us to be happy." Often attributed to Ben Franklin, this quote is especially appropriate for the evening's meet-up. The Beer Diviner, New York State's first licensed Farm Brewery, will be serving some of their tastiest locally-brewed selections during the reception. Come early and enjoy the company of fellow history lovers.

NOTE: the 6:15PM program is free, but ticket reservations in advance are strongly encouraged. Reception is cash bar - support your local breweries!
