Workshop participants will engage in a comprehensive exploration of how racism shapes American institutions, often without our conscious understanding that it is doing so. This series of workshops will help participants understand that the problem of racism is not a problem they themselves created, but a serious problem they have inherited and perpetuate everyday.

Angel Swanson leads a panel of speakers in this workshop series. A member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Renton, Washington, she has taught this workshop to hundreds of participants through municipalities, schools, and churches.
