This class is a perfect way for the new or seasoned gardener to celebrate Earth Day! Learn about effective, eco-safe and responsible ways to fertilize organically. 

This class will cover:

  • Keys to a healthy garden - striving for balance by implementing ALL aspects of Organic Practice
  • What's pH got to do with it?
  • The Nitrogen Cycle
  • N-P-K - what does this mean
  • How to shop for organics -or- How to avoid green washing
You'll also receive:
  • a link emailed to you prior to class to a detailed handout designed to be a reference for you throughout the gardening season,
  • a hands-on lab applying different fertilizers to our garden beds and,
  • a 10% discount on any purchases made the day of class (excludes eggs, metal art and Fischer heirloom tools)
