A few days before class, the primary adult in your party will receive a handout via email which you will need to duplicate for each member in your party and bring with you to class.

- 48 hrs. email notice is required to obtain a refund (minus the transaction fee) or to have the balance transferred to another event during the same class session (i.e. fall, spring, summer).
- 72 hrs. email notice is required on catered events.
No refund or transfer of tuition is given if the required notice is not received. No exceptions.

Please join us for the opening class of this year's GARDENING FOR FAMILIES series at The Cook's Garden by HGEL! The first in this series is GET GROWING WITH YOUR KIDS and is a great introduction to how seeds and plants grow for both children and parents. Taught by TCG owner, Master Gardener and horticulturist, Geri Miller, this class is perfect for the family who would like to 'grow together' by learning together. This fun class will keep even the shortest attention spans focused (and your kid's too!) ;)
- Learning the basics - plant and seed parts and what each needs to grow
- Hands-on: Each child will have an opportunity to pot up their own peat pot to take home sown with seeds of their choice
Each family will also receive:
- tour of garden and a chance to feed the chickens,
- a 10% discount on any purchase made that day (excludes metal garden sculptures, eggs and Fisher Heirloom tools),
- each child will receive 1 raffle ticket for a chance to win a children's gardening apron).
