Innovation, Creativity, and the Power of the Pen

Innovation and creativity are understood as essential  components of business success and economic growth, but only a small minority of people feel that their current creative tools allow them to live up to their potential. Recent studies have shown that modern technologies may be interfering with our ability to tap into our inherent creativity, whereas using simpler methods such as a pen comes with significant neurological benefits. This talk is about the benefits of using a pen for both brainstorming and collaboration.  I will show you how a new and unique technology that Quirklogic is developing to bring analog writing advantages to a digital world.      

Speaker Bio 
Mike Mabey   
Mike Mabey is Co-founder and CTO of QuirkLogic, he also cofounded I2X Technologies, EraSoft Technologies, and Elluminate Inc.  Mike is responsible for QuirkLogic’s technology vision and implementation. He has invented and launched a host of world class products including the award winning QuirkLogic Quilla and the Elluminate Live! software. Mike is an expert on bringing new technology to market. His insight on how to build large scale deployments and integrating them with effective service models has been a hallmark in his career. Mike received his degree from Dalhousie University in computer Science and has focused his career on real-time ideation and how we process displayed information.
