2019 Nature Day Camps (4 & 6 years of age) 

The 2019 Nature Day Camp is a camp being offered for children 4 to 6 years of age.  It focuses on fun hands-on activities about nature and the environement.  Children will explore and participate in activties such as hiking, arts and crafts, playing games, investigating and singing songs.  Our day camps run from 8:30-4pm and  are conducted outside at Ken Reid Conservation Area.

PLEASE NOTE - For the last two weeks of our Nature Day Camp program we will be increasing the age  to accept children 4 to 8 years of age.

IMPORTANT Information

All parents MUST read and sign the participant waiver found at the link below prior to their child attending Nature Day Camp.  The signed  waiver can either be emailed to Nancy Aspden at naspden@kawarthaconservation.com prior to camp or handed into the camp instructors at drop off. 

 

 PARTICIPANT WAIVER

 

Kawartha Conservation Day Camps must be paid in full at the time of registration. If a participant is unable to attend  the Nature Day Camp a full refund will be given less a $5.00 administration fee IF the cancellation is made 10 business days before the first day of camp. If a cancellation is made less than 10 business days before day camp start the parent/guardian will NOT receive any refund whatsoever.

Kawartha Conservation reserves the right to cancel the Nature Day Camp due to low attendance. To hold the Nature Day Camps Kawartha Conservation requires a minimum of 10 or more participants per session. If less than 10  participants sign up for a session, Kawartha Conservation may cancel the Nature Day Camp session. Parents/guardians will be notified of a Nature Day Camp cancellation a minimum of 1 week before the first day of the Nature Day Camp session. A full refund of the session will be given or the option to reschedule to another camp session, whichever option works best.

In the case of a family or medical emergency and cancellation of the Nature Day Camp is necessary after the 10 day window, please contact  Kawartha Region Conservation Authority as soon as possible by telephone at 705.328.2271 Ext.218 or email naspden@KawarthaConservation.com. Refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
