COOKING CLUB : A Taste of France

Session 2: A Taste of France. Learn classic French cooking techniques as we discuss the mother sauces, learn the difference between a juilienne and a chiffonade and the importance of mise en place! We will make Gougeres, Mushroom-Leek Crepes with Hollandaise, Bouillabaisse and Clafoutis for dessert.
In this adult cooking club series, led by Chef Deja Hart, we will cook, bake and experiment with ingredients, spices and preparation methods from countries around the world! *Suitable for cooks of all levels. All you need is a passion for food, sharing ideas and a love of cooking. We will enjoy everything we make together, accompanied by wine tastings.
How it works: Sign up for any Cooking Club class that peaks your interest. At your first class you will receive a Newport Cooks Club Card. Each time you take a club class your card will be punched. After 5 classes you will receive a free Newport Cooks Embroidered Apron; and after every 10th class you will get 1 class FREE!
