L.L. Bean's Outdoor Discovery School, Freeport

This annual event benefits Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine and the Rotary Club of Portland, Maine. We anticipate as many as 45 teams of five to participate in this three-day competition! 

Each team will participate in ONE of the days for three hours. Sporting events include clay target shooting (with instruction), fly casting, GPS orienting, archery, and a new alternative challenge. No experience necessary.

Teams may either register on this site for $1,000, or pledge to raise a minimum of $1,500 as a team - click here to start fundraising!

On Wednesday, June 12th, the Maine Outdoor Challenge concludes at a lobster bake and live auction to recognize winning teams, award prizes, and draw raffle  winners. The lobster bake/auction is included in your team registration. Individual tickets may be purchased separately - don't miss it!
