 Laura Chappell Arnold-CRM for Marketing     Simulations: Laura has been with Interpretive   for 7 years, having moved up through   customer service to now be responsible for all of our marketing simulations. She is the primary point of contact for all customers using our marketing simulations.

Tim Sams- Director of Marketing: Tim has been at Interpretive for 8 years, working in areas of marketing, sales, and product development. Tim will co-host this event with Adele.

NewShoes Simulation

Introduction to Marketing simulation, NewShoes, covers marketing concepts at a basic level by focusing on the roles of price, product, promotion, and place. Student teams manage the marketing decisions for a simulated athletic shoe company, and compete against one another to become the industry leader in market share and profitability.

Guest Speaker:

 I have been part of the Cambrian College Community for 32 years.I am a Professor  in the School of Business and Information Technology.I am also the Program  Coordinator for Organization Management Post Diploma Graduate Certificate as  well as the International Business Management. In 2013 - 2014, I was recognized  with The President's Award for Excellence in the Faculty Category for the second  time in my teaching career. I am both humbled and excited with this recognition and it has provided me with extra motivation to make this another amazing year.
I teach many of the Marketing subjects in all three years of the Business Administration - Marketing Program, beginning with the Introduction to Marketing I [MKT1004], continuing with Introduction to Marketing II [MKT 1200]. In third semester, I teach Professional Selling [MKT3680] and in fifth semester, I teach Marketing Management [MKT3550].
