It's time to hit the ground... and GET DIRTY FOR GOOD!

WHAT: River Guardians Trashy Thursday - Corvallis BMX Park
WHEN: Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 9am - 12pm

DETAILS: Join Willamette Riverkeeper, City of Corvallis Parks & Recreation and Public Works, and our friends at Marys River Watershed Council as a volunteer of the Corvallis River Guardians Program. This month we will focus on another land-based removal project on the Marys River Confluence, focusing on the south bank, accessed through the Corvallis BMX Park. We will meet at the gravel parking area, located at the end of SE Chapman Pl. off Crystal Lake Drive, turning east off 99W. Please be on time to sign waivers, grab a coffee and pastry, and receive a safety talk before we head out together as a group to tackle some the problem areas along the river bank.

Please dress for the weather - bring snacks, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate layers, including a hat, neck gaitor and/or gloves for colder temperatures. This is a rain or shine event! Wear closed-toe hard soled shoes and bring water to stay hydrated. Trash bags, pickers, gloves, tarps and tools for trash removal will also be supplied.
