Hotel Reservations

Our conference will be at the Oregon Garden Resort, 895 W. Main Street, Silverton, Oregon 97381. Your room reservation includes admission to the garden. 

Room Block Deadline: June 17, 2019

NOTE: We are passed the room block deadline - if you still need a hotel room, call the number below and ask if there is any way to squeeze in!

If you plan to use a college/corporate credit card, please make your reservation by PHONE and request a Credit Card Authorization form.

Can I register now, even though I can't pay until the new fiscal year starts in July? 

  • Yes! And please do register now, so we know you're coming! Click on the "Register Now" link above to access the online the registration form and indicate that you will pay by check. Then in July, just pop a check in the mail or email Heather.White@mhcc.edu to switch your payment method to a credit card. 

How do I register myself?

  • Click on the "Register Now" link at the top of this page, and fill out the online the registration form (1 person per registration, using a unique email address).

How do I register someone else?

  • Click on the "Register Now" link at the top of this page to access the online registration form; use the unique email address of the attendee. 
  • All emails and receipts will go to the email address used to register (which must be the attendee's unique email address); this includes a registration confirmation email and a payment receipt if you pay online by credit card.
  • If you are paying for someone else and need the receipt, ask them to forward it to you, or request one from Heather.White@mhcc.edu.

Can I register a group of people together? 

  • No, everyone must register individually online with their own unique email address.
  • If you are paying by check, you can write one check for multiple attendees, but be sure to indicate each attendee the check pays for - this is very important! See below for how to pay by check. 

How do I pay? 

  • Click on the "Register Now" link above and the registration form will ask you whether you are paying by credit card, by check, or at the door.
    • If you indicate credit card, it will prompt you to enter your card information via the WePay platform.
    • If you select to pay by check, make checks payable to AAWCC Oregon, include a note indicating which attendee(s) the check pays for (this is very important!), and mail both the check and the note of who it pays for to: Cherie Maas-Anderson (AAWCC Oregon) Portland Community College, PO Box 19000, Portland, OR 97280-0990
    • If you choose to pay at the door, please make your check payable to AAWCC Oregon, and bring it with you when you check in at the Registration Desk the morning of the conference. 

Receipts and Confirmation Emails: 

  • Upon registering, you will automatically receive a confirmation email. 
  • If you pay by credit card, you will automatically receive a payment receipt by email. 
  • If not, email Heather.White@mhcc.edu
  • If you are a college employee who needs receipts for people you paid for, email Heather.White@mhcc.edu and she'll get them for you.

Refund Policy: 

  • We will offer refunds for Early Bird registrations only, within 48 HOURS of the timestamp of the Early Bird registration. Otherwise, we do not offer refunds. However, we welcome you to substitute a different person for a paid registration, just make sure to let Heather.White@mhcc.edu know, so she can change the name on the registration and arrange for a nametag for the new attendee. Thanks!

How do I change my payment method? 

  • If you already registered but need to change your payment method, email Heather.White@mhcc.edu and she will work with you on this.

How do I apply for a State Chapter Scholarship?

Room block deadline – June 17, 2019

If you plan to use a college/corporate credit card for your reservation, please make your reservation by PHONE (503-874-2500 Ext. 0) and request a Credit Card Authorization form.

  1. Go to www.oregongardenresort.com
  2. Choose your dates and then press the black "BOOK NOW" button.
  3. You will be redirected to a new page. You will see room types that are available at full rate. Above these pictures is an “ADD CODE” option. Click on this and a box will drop down.
  4. Choose “GROUP ATTENDEE” and then enter your group code: AAWCC
  5. You may be redirected to a calendar page. If so, re-select your dates for check-in & check-out then press the blue button that says “UPDATE DATES OF STAY”.
  6. Choose which room type you would like and then press the “ADD ROOM + CHECKOUT” button to complete.
  7. The final page will ask for all of your information to finalize.

Why am I getting emails asking me to register, even though I already registered?

  • You are on our general mailing list and while our software is smart enough to address you by name, it is not smart enough to check it against the current registration list.
