The tools for contextual ministry, church planting, Asset Based Community Development and community organizing all revolve around the techniques that have evolved under the banner of community development. Nuevos Horizontes will explore how church leaders can use such tools for establishing sustainable community relationships which are at the crux of the missional church becoming stakeholders in any given community.

Registration fee: $225. Registration includes double occupancy lodging for 2 nights, conference meals, transportation to and from hotel to Southwest Seminary.
For those desiring single room reservations, or extra hotel nights other than July 8 and 9th, those extra costs are the responsibility of the conference participant.

Limited number of rooms are available at Seminary of the Southwest and are reserved for conference participants with mobility issues. Also, a limited number of rooms with shared bathroom facilities are available at the Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, 100 E. 27th Street, Austin, Tx 78705, which is approximately 1/2 mile (12-15 minutes) from Seminary of the Southwest .

Transportation: Transportation from the Austin Bergstrom International Airport can be arranged with Blue Shuttle, Uber, Lyft or Ride Austin. These transport costs are borne by the conference participant. There will be limited transportation to and from the airport provided by Southwest Seminary, depending on arrival and departure schedules.
