WELCOME to the 2019 IL Conference Annual Celebration. The Planning Committee continues to finalize plans for this year's event.  Please watch here and the conference website for details as they emerge.  

In the meantime, here's a draft schedule of this yea'rs conference:

Greetings, Singers!

I am excited and honored to lead the music in our upcoming UCC Illinois Conference Friday, June 7. All who are interested in singing should RSVP with me at office@pilgrimoakpark.org   You will need to register through the IL Conference website if you are also a voting delegate for your church. You can purchase music, ahead of time, at J. W, Pepper or Sheet Music Plus (or another distributor) or download the attached scores and listen to the recordings provided.

We will have a rehearsal on Friday morning, June 7, from 10:00 am-12:00 pm, and the service is at 1 pm, in the chapel. You may bring a lunch or plan to eat in the Elmhurst cafeteria, before the service begins.

A few reminders:

• Please bring all music with you; while you may use your own downloaded scores,  these copies will be collected and destroyed after the service in accordance with copyright laws.
• Please bring a pencil and a black folder.
• We will use the lyrics written in the attached scores (please practice with these words), as some words were altered for this particular service.
• While there is no dress code, please know that you will be on the dais in the chapel, facing the conference attendees.
• Please avoid strong scents (perfumes, colognes, body lotions, etc.), as some may have allergies or respiratory concerns.
• May this music, in your practice and in the service, be a blessing to all!

Other than the banquet, meals are completely on your own this year.  Visit THIS MAP to view options available near campus.  Many restaurants offer delivery options via Door Dash or Uber Eats.

Exec. Board meets May 8 and will examine all Resolutions to determine that they are properly submitted. The 100 signature petition type emergency resolutions will be severely limited to those that could not have been contemplated by the May 7 deadline. In past years we have accepted emergency petitions that were not an emergency to anyone but the folks who didn’t get around to it sooner. This isn’t fair to the delegates who don’t have proper time to study! So...12:00 noon, Tuesday, May 7, 2019 is the deadline for Associations, Congregations and Committees to submit resolutions to Conference Office in order to be placed on the agenda for the 2019 Annual Celebration. Electronic submission (Word format) are preferred, but paper submissions are possible. Contact your Associate Conference Minister for assistance.

DORM HOUSING: rooms are set up as quads (2 separate sleeping rooms with 2 beds per room $33/ night.) There are limited rooms with one bed in some quds for $52/ night.

 OPTIONAL HOTEL RESERVATIONS: If you opt to stay at a local hotel instead of the dorm you will need to make your reservation. Ask for Elmhurst College discount or Illinois Conference UCC discount (at Courtyard).
