Children's Services East Interest Group Meeting (7/30/19)

Meeting Information

"Story Time Tips and Tricks":
In the morning we will share story time tips, tricks and programs.  Please come prepared to talk about one of your favorite story times and about the little things that make a big difference.  Bring the books if possible and a full outline of the program including all songs or activities.  It will be a story time exchange!  Bring one and go home with as many as there are attendees.  You will receive an email before the session to let you know how many copies of your program to bring so there are plenty for everyone.  The afternoon will be reflections on our summer programs.  What was amazing? What was disappointing? What did we learn from the experiences?  Join colleagues from other libraries as we learn from each other and share our experiences and expertise.

Please Note:  The Children's Services East Interest Group serves the counties of Marion, Putnam, Clay, Duval, St. Johns, Nassau, Flagler, Volusia, and Brevard. However, any NEFLIN member is welcome to attend meetings of the Children's Services West group, as well

Interest Group Facilitator:  Jenny Ransone

Jenny Ransone has been employed with the Marion County Public Library System for eight years. Jenny has been a Children’s Services librarian and the Circulation manager before being promoted to her current position. Jenny began her library career in Greenwood, Indiana where she managed a library based volunteer literacy program.

Cost: NEFLIN Interest Groups are free of charge and are open to NEFLIN members only.  Registration is strongly encouraged.

A reminder and access information will be sent out one week before the meeting and one day before the meeting.  Please email register@neflin.org if you do not receive your access information.
