Join us for the annual SLI Research Seminar. We will hear from the authors of two newly published research articles about Soul Lightening Acupressure, and discuss other projects underway, plus ideas for new research!

Saturday, April 13th: Morning Sessions

Worldwide Pyramid Meditation & Opening Session
9:00am | Worldwide Pyramid Meditation with the Soul Lightening Community and Meraki: Co-Creating with Soul with Cathy Miller

We will begin with the Worldwide Pyramid Meditation to set our space, and then celebrate being together by opening to our full creative potential with experiential and interactive exercises. "Meraki" is a Greek word that is often used to describe doing something with soul, creativity, or love -- when you put "something of yourself" into what you're doing. Let's explore this together! 

Tablework Off the Table: Walking the Mystical Path with Practical Feet

Tablework Off the Table is a path of introspection, process, and action. It involves being present with change and embracing both light and darkness. Walking the mystical path with practical feet asks us to be with our soul and life streams at interface, with a fulcrum of unconditional positive regard. We will explore givens in life we often cannot change, connect with and strengthen our wise-hearted spiritual warrior, and discover wisdom and grace as we deepen heart and soul alignment and presence. 

Saturday, April 13th: Afternoon Sessions

Soul Lightening & Yoga: Exploring Vitality
1:30pm | with Susan Trier
In this 30 minute practice, we will combine yoga, Soul Lightening acupressure points, breath work, imagery and self-massage to awaken to the vitality surrounding us and within us. Please wear clothes that you'll be comfortable stepping into a wide stance, reaching for the heavens and touching your hands to the earth. If you have a yoga mat, feel free to bring one .

Return to Soul: Hospice Care
2:00pm | with Lynne Hiatt
My experiences with the messages from the Soul have been profound and amazing as I continue my work of Process Acupressure in the Hospice setting. I am delighted to have the opportunity to share some of my experiences and some of my Patient's stories as they follow the path to complete integration with Soul on their final journey.  

Lighting Up the World: Seva in Three Languages

Terry Haag has traveled to Haiti for 6 years, not only working as part of a medical team, but also enjoying the people and the land. Thru many co-creative connections she has been invited and able to share SEVA with the townspeople, patients at clinic, nurses and finally Physical therapy students at the University Foundation of Aristide. The amazing part is that we are all so connected in our humanness, this gift could be imparted in three languages with ease and love!

Back to the Blueprint: Healing Trauma from the Inside Out

Many practitioners are becoming aware of the importance of being "trauma informed." This important topic is not only about supporting our clients more deeply, but about taking care of ourselves as we work with them. In this session we will explore all that Soul Lightening Acupressure has to offer into this issue, as well as some simple practices to add to your toolbox for when you encounter trauma.
