Bluebird Parade for Foster Children
Friday, May 3, 2019

This will be the third year the Bluebird Parade for Foster Children has joined the First Friday ArtWalk in May. Hundreds of people from all over the community - famiies, schools, groups, and organizations - are creating bluebirds in recognition of our children in foster care.

JOIN US
Our goal is to have one original bluebird to represent each unique child in foster care in our community. Right now, that number is approximately 240. To join the parade, create a bluebird and bring it to CitySpace on Friday, May 3.

SCHEDULE
4:30 - Bring your bluebird to CitySpace
4:55 - Welcome and directions
5:00 - Parade begins
5:30 - Parade returns to CitySpace for refreshments and music

PARADE ROUTE
From CitySpace, the Bluebird Parade will go all the way down the mall, do a u-turn at the Omni Hotel, and return up the mall to land at CitySpace.

PARKING
We suggest parking in the Market Street Garage.
Because every foster child needs a bluebird
