Winterthur house and gardens is a spectacular DuPont Estate, home to the largest collection of Americana (over 90,000 objects) set in 1000 acres of rolling hills and a 60 acre naturalistic garden.
We will take a tram tour, the house tour and stop in to see the exhibit of costumes and objects from The Crown, as described below:
From the dazzling gold of Queen Elizabeth’s coronation robe to the simple sophistication of Princess Margaret’s wedding dress, from the majesty of royal crowns and tiaras to the comfort of clothes worn in private family moments, Costuming THE CROWN will feature 40 iconic object and costumes from the beloved Emmy® award-winning Netflix series, a dramatized history of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.
There will be time for lunch in the cafeteria and for peeking into one or more of their lovely shops.

Bus will leave at 9:30 am sharp from outside the Ethical Socity, 1906 Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia 19103 and will return to same place.
