Effective Communication through Emotional Intelligence

When we are talking to people about estate planning, it can be an emotional conversation. Thinking about the future can be scary or bring up past experiences. Using Emotional Intelligence (EI) we can learn how to navigate those emotional waters by identifying the emotion and using communication strategies that create a deeper connection with the other person. We will talk about identification, influence, and implementation in this 30-minute presentation. Participants will leave with strategies to help them identify emotions, manage their own emotions during a conversation, have a more impactful conversation, and create a more connected relationship.
