"Together Towards Tomorrow"

On Wednesday, June 12, 2019, the Early Care & Learning Council will host its Annual Meeting & Luncheon, celebrating 40+ years of dedicated service to children and families in New York State. During these last four decades, the Early Care & Learning Council has been a powerful and consistent voice, working to ensure that all families have access to high quality, affordable early child care, and that children have access to high quality early learning opportunities.   

ECLC’s Annual Meeting & Luncheon recognizes the network’s recent accomplishments and collective work to ensure an early care and education system of high quality in the state.  It also sets the stage for presentation of the "Excellence in Leadership" award.  Last year’s honorees included: Assemblywoman Shelly Mayer; Jennifer Stimson, Commissioner of Human Services in Chemung County; Lorelei A. Vargas, Deputy Commissioner for Child and Family Well-Being New York City Administration for Children’s Services; Tim Cook, Owner of Cook Communications, LLC.
