Concussion & Vertigo: How to make it through your workweek
JoinSarah Hull, Registered Physiotherapist, trained in concussion and vertigo assessment and treatment, for this engaging discussion on Concussion and Vertigo.
If you have suffered a concussion in the past and are still dealing with symptoms such as headache, dizziness, sensitivity to light and sound, nausea, fatigue, fogginess, you might be dealing with post-concussion syndrome. Some of these symptoms can last longer than 7-10 days and can be treated with physiotherapy. It is crucial to manage concussions promptly and appropriately until complete recovery to avoid reinjury.
During this talk, Sarah will also be discussing vertigo. Vertigo is a specific form of dizziness that is caused by vestibular/inner ear dysfunction that feels like a sensation of the world spinning around them and can cause nausea, poor balance, headaches, etc.
Sometimes these two conditions happen together and often the symptoms are quite similar!
