The Narrative Apprenticeship Program (NAP) is an experiential-learning consultation program. A cohort of 9 “apprentices” meets the third Friday** of every month with NTI Director Stephen Gaddis to engage with and grow their understanding of narrative therapy in practice. NAP is designed for people who are seeking a caring and supportive learning environment where they can explore narrative ways of working.

The typical agenda for a NAP meeting is:

  • 9:00 - 10:00 -- Check-ins
  • 10:00 - 11:00 -- Narrative ideas and practices
  • 11:00 - 12:00 -- Group discussion
  • 12:00 -- 1:00 -- Lunch
  • 1:00 -- 3:00 -- Live consultation and practice exercises

This program is not limited to mental health practitioners. Interested participants should email NTI. Steve will follow up with a phone call to discuss whether the program is a good fit with your particular interests. NAP is limited to 9 participants, and often fills quickliy, so sign up early.
