Wild Rose Horse Obstacle Contests

February 22 - 23, 2020

TWO 2-MILE TRAIL OBSTACLE EVENTS

CLINIC FOR NOVICE (BEGINNER) RIDERS

Gary and Carole Wilder are volunteers partnering with Bethany’s Gait in creating opportunities for our fellow equine enthusiasts.  Our goal is to create an enjoyable environment where we challenge ourselves and our horses to advance our skills while enjoying the friendship and camaraderie of other riders.  The upside of this is that all proceeds go directly to benefit a fantastic 501(c)(3) charity – Bethany’s Gait - to support their programs.

Bethany's Gait is dedicated to "Rescuing Horses, Restoring Lives".  The programs offered by Bethany's Gait were created specifically for active duty, reserve and veteran military personnel, first responders and their families.  One of the things that makes the program unique is that Bethany's Gait is also a horse rescue.  They have found that bringing the rescue horses together with the people offers a dynamic situation where horses and humans heal through a bond that is developed based on unconditional love, unwavering trust and a keen understanding of what the other has been through.  Bethany's Gait is a 501(c)(3) non-profit ranch in Prescott, AZ.

CHARITY EVENT BENEFITTING BETHANY'S GAIT, PRESCOTT, AZ

Tucson Equestrian Center, Marana, Arizona is known nationwide for performance horse training and rehabilitation.  For over 20 years, Linda Colica has assessed, cared for, rehabilitated, conditioned and trained horses at her pristine 50-acre facility - one of America's most trusted and respected horse facilities.

Head trainer, Laura Sisco, is a transplant from the East Coast where she excelled in the hunter/jumper world and barrel racing at large shows.

Several of your fellow Wild Rose friends train here regularly with Linda and Laura.  Shucks, eventually they were even able to help Gary change his ways, with coaching and guidance, and refined his skills a bit using their obstacle practice area.  The obstacle course will challenge you and stretch you a bit - adding new levels to your skills.  Make sure to inquire about private lessons.

These events will have 10 obstacles (not 6 or 8) on a short obstacle trail course on a two-mile trail at a private facility.  The facility is not open to the public.  No hikers, bikers, or ATVs!!!
