How stressed are your kids and your family?
Children and adults alike are pushing themselves to be better, stronger, smarter. Kids feel stress about doing their homework, taking tests, playing sports, dealing with friends and siblings. The list goes on and on. As a result, we’re seeing an increase in anxiety and other mental health issues. But stress isn't always bad; it can be good and in fact necessary. The reality is that too much or too little stress decreases competence and affects physical and mental health. When the amount of stress is just right, children will develop skills and strengths to serve them through childhood and into adulthood.

Join us as Dr. Eberlin addresses what stress is, how people experience it differently and how to determine the healthiest level of stress for you, your children and your family. Dr. Eberlin will give strategies for reducing stress when necessary, helping your child navigate stressful situations, and knowing when to step in and when to step away.

Dr. Eberlin is a licensed psychologist in Danville, an expert family coach, and a featured contributor to the web-based parenting resource, www.kidsinthehouse.com.  She specializes in providing evidence based strategies and assessments to children, adults and families with a variety of behavioral, emotional and social challenges.
