Upstate Education Spectrum Spring Forum

Meeting of Upstate Public School Superintendents, College/University Presidents/Provosts and Business Leaders

Tuesday, May 7th, 2019
2:00 - 4:30 p.m.
(reception to follow)

During the Education Spectrum Fall Forum in 2018, leaders convened to target opportunities for cross-sectoral collaboration. Three committees were subsequently formed to address the issue of the region's teacher shortage - please join us on May 7th as we hear an update on their progress.

Committees Include:
• Profession Elevation
• Teacher Recruitment & Retention
• Understanding the Challenges

This is an unique opportunity for leaders from all of the public school districts, technical colleges, two and four year colleges and universities, as well as business and industry in the region to come together to discuss and work on key issues impacting education entities in the Upstate.

We hope you share our excitement for the positive possibilities this collaborative effort across the education and business spectrum can have for enhancing opportunities for our students and community.
