Why
NOW is the time to CELEBRATE and GET MOVING! If you are a beginner, out of shape or just curious about the word TRIATHLON this event is for you!!! Whether you are an experienced triathlete or a first timer just learning about the sport of triathlon you will be welcomed with open arms. We will be swimming in the pool (it is OK if you do not know how to swim), bike (it is OK if you do not have a bike - we have stationary & loaner bikes) and we will then run together (or walk!)
Who FIU students/faculty, anyone & everyone!
What to bring
Goggles, swim attire, a running shoes, towel. We will have cold water for you and a swim cap if you need one. ALL SWIMMING WILL BE IN THE POOL. If you do not yet have a bike no worries. Access to ride the stationary bikes in the FIU fitness center will be provided. Note: Limited stationary bikes are available. After the group work-out stay to learn about our Triathlon Club, visit with vendors and enjoy food and drink prepared by the FIU triathlon club members.
