The Newfoundland & Labrador Housing & Homelessness Network (NLHHN), the Consumers Health Awareness Network (CHANNAL), and Eastern Health are offering a full day workshop on:

Bipolar Affective Disorder Workshop

Participants may expect to learn about the causes of bipolar illness, its course and prognosis, symptoms, treatments and recovery. People who have bipolar illness will share their struggles with this illness as a lived experience. Participants will learn about the recovery philosophy. We will highlight CHANNAL as a premiere agency built and maintained by consumers of mental health and psychiatric services. We will share information about CHANNAL’s services such as peer support and a telephone warm line. 

This workshop is free and open to everyone but in-person registration is limited.
