Tung's Acupuncture and Clinical Application 

Join us for this 8-day course which introduces a specialized acupuncture techniques and styles, Tung’s acupuncture. Master Tung’s acupuncture are fondly referred to as ‘magic’ because in most cases these points deliver instant and lasting results. Master Tung has been referred to as ‘the greatest acupuncture master who ever lived’.

This program focuses on how to improve clinic treatment effect with Tung’s acupuncture. It covers Tung’s acupuncture theory and Western Medicine mechanisms in 3 parts: lecture, anatomy lab and hand on practice.

Continuing education credit is provded for all hour sthrough the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Days 5-6 have been subitted to NCCAOM for additional credit in ethics and safety.

This 8-day course introduces a specialized acupuncture techniques and styles, Tung’s acupuncture. Students will understand Tung’s acupuncture mechanism, describe the relationship between regular meridian and Tung’s acupuncture and be able to perform Tung’s acupuncture needling techniques and practically apply acupuncture techniques in a clinical setting.

Uniquely in this program, you will explore critical points on real cadaver in National University anatomy lab.  This course systematically elaborate the principle and technique of Tung Acupuncture with modern sciences. It is not only the best way to start for those who have not studied Tung Acupuncture before. For the Tung Acupuncture practitioners, it will lead you to achieve the effective way for improving and upgrading your technique.

COURSE OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this course, the successful student will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate a profound understanding of Tung’s acupuncture theory and techniques.
  2. Perform Tung’s acupuncture in different clinical conditions.  
  3. Safety apply acupuncture techniques in a clinic setting safety and ethically.
