 About the Guest Minister

Pastor Linda Smith

Pastor Linda L. Smith is the Senior Pastor of Gates of Praise Christian Church, Inc. She was ordained as Elder September 14, 2003 and June 3, 2012 as Senior Pastor of Gates of Praise Christian Church (GPCC). She is an anointed vessel as a teacher, preacher, counselor, instructor, exhorter, intercessor, soul winner and minister of the word of God. Pastor Linda L. Smith is gifted and talented as a financial counselor, entrepreneur, marketing director and executive administrator.

Pastor Linda is currently attending Northeastern Regional Bible College. Pastor Linda attended Bread of Heaven Bible College under the leadership of late Bishop Mack Timberlake, Christian Faith Center in Creedmoor, NC. She has also received various certifications from various bible colleges. Pastor Linda is a member of God's General, INC and CAPS International Fellowship, INC.

In 1981, Pastor Linda L. Smith committed her life to Jesus and never looked back. She has always had a burning desire to be that yielded vessel unto the Lord. Over the years, she has worked with college and nursing home ministries, participated in door to door witnessing, and taught Sunday school. 

Pastor Linda obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from North Carolina Central University with a concentration in business administration, on a full four year academic scholarship. In addition, Pastor Linda has over 25 years experience in accounting and real estate with countless awards. 

Pastor Linda was married to the late Senior Pastor Archie Smith of Gates of Praise Christian Church for thirty two (32) years and has five beautiful adult daughters, three son in laws and4 grandchildren (Travis, JJ, little Tegan, and Bryce).
