Joe will discuss receiving a phone call in late September, 2007 from the producer of the Extreme Makeover Home Edition TV show asking his company to build a home for Patrick Henry Hughes and his family. His presentation will focus on the short time frame to organize and build a home in 4 days. He will share the behind-the-scene story of how it was done and the many lessons he learned from participating in this life-changing journey.

About Joe:
Joe is President and owner of Elite Homes which he founded in 1976. Elite Homes builds approx. 160 homes a year ranging from $300,000 to $600,000. Elite Homes has built almost 2,000 homes in the Greater Louisville area over the last 43 years. Elite Homes is currently developing 9 subdivisions in the Metro area. Joe has been giving back to the Louisville community for over 3 decades. In 1993, he brought Homearama to Smoketown, which were the 1st new homes built in Smoketown in over 50 years. In 2003, he organized a rescue package to help save the Louisville Orchestra. In 2007, his company built a new home for Patrick Henry Hughes and the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition TV show. He built another home for the TV show in 2010 for Jeff & Shelly Lampe Among the many awards he has won are: Home Builders Assoc of Louisville- Builder of the year in 1993 & 2003 2005 winner of the Hearthstone Builder Lifetime Public Service Award-which is awarded to 2 builders in the country each year 2007 Business Leader of the year 2008 Catholic Education Foundation Community Service Award 2010 Philanthropist of the year 2011 America's Best Builder by Builder magazine Elite Homes has also built 15 homes for various charities-donating over $1,00,000 from the proceeds. Joe is married to Dr. Vickie Pusateri and has 3 children. Joey (40), Renee (38) & Clayton (19). Joe enjoys working out, travelling & playing golf in his spare time.
