The State Academy for Public Administration's 2019 Public Service Excellence Awards ceremony will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019 at UAlbany's Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy in Milne Hall, Room 200.  This is a fitting opportunity to celebrate some of your esteemed colleagues.

This SAPA event is being co-sponsored by the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy and the NY Capital Chapter of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA). During the Excellence Award ceremony, SAPA also will recognize the 2019 Essentials of Public Administration graduates.

There is no charge for this event, but registration is required.

This year's SAPA Public Service Excellence Awards will go to 3 individuals and 1 combined team. The Association of Government Accountants (AGA) also will be recognizing a member of that group with their 2019 Outstanding Achievement in Government Accountability Award. SAPA will recognize our 2019 graduates of the revived Essentials Program

The 2019 SAPA Excellence Awards will go to:
  • Eric Mostert, NYS Department of Taxation and Finance
  • Charles H. Nesbitt, Jr. - Orleans County
