Workshop Description
This course is for individuals who work in Tennesse developing permit applications for stream impacts. The course begins with a brief overview of the Stream Functions Pyramid Framework and key metrics that are included in the TN Stream Quantification and Debit Tools. Two rapid field assessments will be completed on nearby streams. The field data will then be entered into the Debit Tool.
Instructors from the US Army Corps of Engineers and the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation will provide an overview of the TN stream mitigation guidelines, and then lead the class through debit tool scenarios and examples using the collected field data.
