BORN TO RUN 5K   and   1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk

Born To Run is Blackstone Academy's unique 5K (3.1 mile) Road Race and One Mile Family Fun Run/Walk. Join family and friends on a Sunday morning walking or running experience! Kids are free, parents are $20 in advance, $25 day of the event. Proceeds benefit our after-school clubs. 

More Event Details

This is a great event for new or experienced runners and walkers. Participants will include children of all ages, high school students and adults of all ages. Pre-register or register the day of the race between 9:00 and 9:45 am. 

5K Route: 

Begin on Taft Street behind Blackstone Academy. Head towards downtown Pawtucket along the Blackstone River. Turn before the Division Street bridge back onto Taft Street.  Follow Taft to end. Take a right and then a left on Pleasant Street. Turn before Raleigh Street near the Providence line and loop back on Pleasant. Take a right on Tower Street to end. 

One mile Fun Run/Walk begins in the same location and goes for 1/2 mile down and 1/2 mile back.
