League Player Agreement

Sub Policy:  If you are unable to make a scheduled round of league play, please secure a sub from the eligible sub list in our scheduling system, LeagueBoss, or from your League Captain. Once you have secured a sub, please email both your League Captain and playing partners your sub's information. The League Captain will then update the scorecard and your playing partners will know for whom to watch. All Drumlins West, Green Lakes, Radisson, Foxfire and Saturday Travel league players are eligible to sub in any other league.

Use of Email - In all communications with members please use BCC (blindcopied). For example if emailing Jane Doe her address should be located in the BCC line, not in the to or cc lines.

Timeliness & tee times: To ensure that all players can complete their rounds in a timely fashion, it is imperative that players be on the tee box, ready to play, at their appointed tee times. If anyone in your playing group is not ready to tee off at the designated tee time (or when the course directs your group to tee off), the rest of the group is to tee off at its designated tee time. A course employee will bring the latecomer to her group, and she can commence play on the next tee box. Missed holes are NOT made up and should be noted with "X"s on the scorecard. Please be considerate of the players following you; do not wait for a missing player or switch up tee times.

Weather cancellations: We make every effort to maintain our scheduled rounds and generally do not cancel due to rain, unless it is heavy and/or there is danger of lightning. The League Captain is the individual designated to cancel a round, in concert with the course, whether due to rain (or other circumstances) and will make every effort to do so via electronic notice by 3:30 p.m. on the day of play. When in doubt, please report to the course. Should a round be canceled due to rain, it will be made up by adding it to the end of the schedule or by issuance of rain checks should completion of those rounds not be possible prior to the end of season.

Pace of play & double-par pickup: All leagues utilize double-par pickup in order to maintain pace of play. If your strokes equal double par (e.g., 6 on a par 3) for any hole, please pick up your ball, regardless of the distance from the hole. Score the hole with an "X" for league play and equitable stroke* on your personal card. If you've X'd out, please help to keep the group moving along by, e.g., attending the flag, or raking a bunker.

* If you are unfamiliar with equitable stroke, contact your League Captain, the League Chair or the Handicap Chair.

Accurate scoring: When your round is complete, quickly compare scorecards to ensure that the scores being turned in reflect the same scores you've recorded on your personal scorecard. Please make sure a score is entered for each hole. When finished reviewing cards, sign the scorecard and turn the card in to your League Captain. An unsigned scorecard will be considered incomplete and the round forfeited unless a dispute has been registered with the League Captain.

Scoring note: In the event of a no-show, the League Captain or Administrator will select a person of equal or similar handicap against whom that player will score (points are not automatically awarded to the participating player).
