Please join Willamette Riverkeeper, Corvallis Parks & Recreation, Public Works, American Canoe Association and friends at the Corvallis River Guardians Trashy Tuesday on May 9, 2019.
PLEASE MEET AT 9AM at the Maple Grove parking area. We will disperse from here, as both land and water based groups, to help tackle the debris as it is spread up and down the riverbanks, sometimes in areas difficult to reach by foot. All BYOB paddlers must be able to adequately paddle in moving water. Due to recent high water, cut banks and overhanging vegetation. NO BOAT? NO WORRIES - your RSVP will reserve a seat in a raft. Because we will be working from the water, PFDs are REQUIRED, and will be provided for those registered for a seat-in-raft or drift boat.
Please bring a water bottle and appropriate layers for the weather. Please wear closed-toe hard soled shoes, long sleeves and pants. Gloves, pickers, garbage bags, tools, tarps, snacks AND COFFEE will be provided.
