TATT Laurens County Workshop - Cultivating Community Investment

Ten at the Top is celebrating 10 years of connecting the Upstate in 2019. As part of the 10th anniversary, TATT is holding community workshops in each of the 10 Upstate counties with each one focused on an issue of interest within that county. The program will include communities, businesses or organizations that are successfully working on that issue in other parts of the Upstate sharing insights and ideas with those interested in that specific issue within the focus county.

The Laurens County Workshop will take place on June 13th with the focus being on Cultivating Community Investment. Allen Smith, the President and CEO of the Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce, will share how Spartanburg has created a community culture that is investing in a wide range of initiatives that are helping to grow the physical infrastructure and the social capital within the Spartanburg community. Other speakers are currently being finalized from other areas within the region.

In addition, leaders from within Laurens County will share some potential ideas and opportunities for cultivating community investment within Laurens County.

The Laurens County Workshop is free and open to the public, but advance registration is requested.. Light refreshments will be served.
