Bonsai Exhibit - The Art of Bonsai

You are invited to view beautiful bonsai with their accompanying kusamono, and enjoy the creativity and serenity of this art form. Enter the world of miniature trees during the Yakima Valley Bonsai Society's annual Bonsai Exhibit.

Bonsai refers to the training and artistic vision applied to a tree; ultimately giving the illusion of an aged miniature tree in nature.  Literally translated "bon-sai" means "planted in a container".

"Bonsai is not a race, nor is it a destination. It is a never-ending journey." -Unknown

Bonsai 'Azalea'

In addition to the tree exhibit in the Garden room, there will be demonstrations on bonsai techniques on the hour, starting at noon in the Solarium room.

Trees, pots, and other Bonsai related items will be for sale by members
