GladdeningLight Symposium 2020

Three paragons of inter-spirituality -- Mirabai Starr, Rami Shapiro and Barbara Brown Taylor -- host a weekend of lectures, aesthetics and wild surrender at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida joined by cellist Eugene Friesen and a cappella singers Owen & Moley Ó Súilleabháin, February 6-9, 2020.

Richard Rohr GladdeningLight Symposium 2017

The way of inter-spirituality is forged by many voices of the holy.  The wearied, singular path clerically dispensed by men is eclipsed by the divine feminine where wisdom pours forth amid the splendor of all faith traditions.  Here is where we meet Rabbi Rami Shapiro, a prolific author of more than thirty books on spirituality and recovery, who guides the One River Foundation on perennial wisdom and helps free denominated souls in his latest book, Living the Surrendered Life.

Mirabai Starr is on fire.  Her lyrical work translating mystics and goddesses is electrifying audiences, built upon years contemplating the brightest sages and teaching at the collegiate level.  A frequent lecturer and contributor to Richard Rohr's Center for Action and Contemplation, Mirabai's most recent book, Wild Mercy, is empowering feminine voices in a refreshingly iconoclastic style.  Audiences are drawn to her deeply personal and engaging manner, mirroring the heart of divine wisdom.

At GladdeningLight, audiences will revel in the presence of Rami and Mirabai building community together and will welcome back beloved author and storyteller Barbara Brown Taylor.  Participate in all three days at $220.  Additionally, attend Thursday evening's opening reception at the home of Rollins College President Grant Cornwell for $30 and join Saturday's group luncheon in the beautiful new Rice Family Pavilion for $20.  Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover accepted or register by phone at (407) 647-3963.  Inquiries at randy@gladdeninglight.org.
