Autism Fall Conference

November 2, 2019 - Black Bear Inn, Orono

We are pleased to invite you to be a part of this opportunity to exchange ideas, resources and knowledge that will inspire hope and innovation for those who live and work with individuals with autism.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. James Ball, Ed.D., BCBA-D

"You Can't Make Me: Proactive Strategies for Positive Behavioral Change"
This presentation will discuss the 7 evidence based strategies, described in his book "Early Intervention & Autism:  Real-Life Questions; Real-Life Answers," authored by the presenterthat have been proven the most effective in teaching students and adults with autism spectrum disorder. A step by step demonstration will be presented using real life examples. Modifications will be explored that allow this particular program to be effective with students significantly challenged with autism, as well as those students with Asperger Syndrome.  A question and answer period will be provided.  Keynote information flyer
