The Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council is bringing together resilience, planning, economic development and housing professionals for an information sharing meeting to discuss the emerging risks that Community Redevelopment Areas face.
We would like to invite you to a meeting with other CRAs around the region. At the meeting, you will learn new information about storm surge, flooding and sea level rise projections. We’ll discuss the impacts to housing and consequences of these hazards to our residents and their homes. We’ll also briefly discuss current plans and policies, and, define additional data needs and interest in special workshops on resilient post-disaster planning.
We hope you can make it. Also, please feel free to invite other staff and important stakeholders. Our goal is to create resilient communities by increasing our collective understanding of the vulnerability our communities face.
We look forward to meeting you and welcome any suggestions or questions before the meeting.
