THE CLASS:
Acting the Character
This class will guide students through an intense and fun afternoon filled with drama activities and exercises designed to challenge and break students out of their comfort zone! So often as performers, we take one look at the page and immediately decide how the character exists on stage. But when we dare to make bold choices onstage and truly shed our inhibitions and dig deeper to learn more about the characters we bring to life, the results are limitless!
This three hour intensive will include 30 minutes of performance from select students to work with the facilitator, 2 hours of activity and 30 minutes to revisit the first performances and see growth and improvement. The session will culminate with a talk back about all things Broadway and Musical Theatre.
