Cattle Driving Clinic Weekend

Join us for a fun weekend of inspiration & education with your horse. Gain confidence & knowledge in your horsemanship along with introducing your horse to cattle and other obstacles that you may encounter on the trail. A great way to have yourself and your horse prepared for your trail riding adventures!

Take a look at this amazing location in the mountains of  North Carolina!

Stalls & RV hook ups are available

Centrally located and less than 2 hours drive from Charlotte & Asheville, NC.

Amazing scenery all around the covered arena.

What to expect-

To get this most from your experience we suggest that for this event you should bring a horse that has some riding experience.  For those horses and riders that do not have experience with cows this will offer a great opportunity to create curiousity and confidence in being around cattle.

For all levels of riders & breeds of horses.

During this clinic riders will learn how to build confidence by understanding correct ways of setting your horse up and positioning them correctly to maintain control of your horses body in order to properly work a cow.

Refinement, body control, use of reins and legs will all be covered during the weekend.  You will have a chance to put these skills to use on live cattle.   We will add obstacles to give purpose to your new skills plus it really can be a lot of fun!

This clinic is way more than just chasing cows so come prepared for a learning experience that will help you to progress with your trail horse.  The trail horse may encounter all types of animals and obstacles on the trail. We will help you prepare yourself and your horse for each new adventure.

Friday-  Basics of navigating cattle & obstacles

Saturday-  Combining cattle & obstacles

Sunday Session (10am-2pm)- Cattle Driving Challenge for fun!

Have fun with a group of like minded mature riders while developing your horsemanship skills and building a relationship with your horse.
