Allen USA Volunteer Registration Page (KAB Green Team)
We're looking for 100 volunteers to help us minimize the impact on the environment at our Allen USA Celebtration event. If you're looking to help out in a fun, family oriented event register below. We're looking for responsible reliable individuals that can do a variety of work.
Volunteer Registration Notice:
This is an individual volunteer registration portal and group portal. If you are signing up someone under you or your group, you take full responsiblity for their care during the event. You will need their contact information prior to registering them. If you represent to an organization and need to register over 30 people, we can help you. List of Volunteer Job Assignments and Times (100 People Needed)
Main Shift: 6:30 pm - 10:30 pm - Volunteers will collect cardboard, handout litter bags, collect litter and monitor collection sites to teach people how to recycle. Around 10 pm, volunteers will enjoy a fireworks show then walk through the crowd to collect trash from people before it becomes litter.
Late Shift Only: 8:30 pm - 10:30 pm - At the end of the night, 60,000 visitors all at once have to throw away their drinks and trash all at once. All the trash and recycling containers get full so people throw everything on the ground. The volunteers who make it to 10 PM will walk through the crowd to distribute litter bags that contain trash and recycling bags to the crowd. We will ask them to throw their trash and recycling away and pass the bags. We will attempt to collect as much trash and recycling from people before it becomes litter.

TRAINING SESSION
If possible please plan on attending a volunteer training session on Thursday, June 27th at City Hall at 6:00 pm. We will be going over the volunteer game plan so everyone knows what to do. This is a very cool event to be part of.

- Volunteers must be at least 10 years of age
- Register only if you plan on attending. No shows will be removed from the KAB volunteer program.
- Registration requires an individual email.

In consideration of the City of Allen’s and Keep Allen Beautiful acceptance of your organization’s entry in the event, we, the undersigned organization forever release and discharge any and all rights, demands, claims and causes of suite or action, known or unknown, whether arising now or in the future that we may have against the City of Allen, Keep Allen Beautiful, its officers, agents, employees, and volunteers, and all other property owners and any other participating sponsors, as the officers, employees and agents of such parties for any and all injuries, including death and property damage, in any manner arising or resulting from participation of said event. We attest and verify that we have full knowledge of the risks involved in the event, that we individually assume those risks on behalf of ourselves, our organization, our business, and our minor children, and that we will individually without limitations, assume and pay any medical and/or emergency expenses in the event of an accident, injury, illness or other incapacity, regardless of whether we have authorized such expenses. Further, we state that we have carefully read this Release, know the contents of the Release, and sign this Release of our own free will.
MEDIA RELEASE
I hereby grant the City of Allen, Public and Media Relations Office, the right to photograph members, employees, officers, and/or any agents participating in City of Allen and Keep Allen Beautiful events and to use or authorize the use of the photo for promotional purposes as related to city produced publications and materials and external publications and materials where the city would release use of the photo to support information about city-related programs and services.
I hereby acknowledge that no fee is payable by the City of Allen, Public and Media Relations Office, for this appearance or resulting distribution, and that the provisions of this release are legally binding.
