Understanding & Analyzing Systemic Racism Workshop:
July 15-17, 2019
In this intensive two and a half day workshop presented by Crossroads Antiracism Organizing & Training, participants explore the historical development of institutional racism in the US. Participants will investigate how racism is internalized by individuals, including the identity-shaping power racism has on People of Color and White people. We will examine how racism manifests in the policies, practices and culture of institutions.
The workshop begins on Monday at 2:00 PM and ends on Wednesday at 5:00 PM.
We ask each participant to enter this workshop with an open mind and heart, and a willingness to experience discomfort as well as transformation. It is important that each participant commit fully to the two and a half days. There are a limited number of spaces available, so please carefully consider your attendance/ participation.
The price for the workshop is $425 per person. This price includes breakfast and lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday.
